I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
